Ashley completed a degree in piano performance at Brigham Young University. While there, she won first place in the BYU Concerto Competition and performed as a soloist with the BYU Philharmonic and Riverton Metropolitan Symphonies. She also taught undergraduate piano classes. Since graduating, Ashley has completed extensive Suzuki training.
Ashley began piano lessons at the age of five at the Peabody Preparatory. With the help of a patient mother and kind teachers, she developed her talent for performing and was a frequent winner in local and state solo and ensemble competitions. She is the mother of three boys who play the cello, piano, and violin. Ashley enjoys performing, accompanying, and teaching piano.
